Christopher Garner was born and raised in Northeast Oklahoma. He graduated from Locust Grove High School, Rogers State University for his undergraduate degree, and the University of Tulsa College of Law for his law degree. While attending law school, Christopher enrolled in the immigration clinic where he developed a passion for assisting foreign nationals who had been the victims of domestic violence seek and obtain immigration relief.
After graduating from law school and passing the bar exam, Christopher moved to Seattle, WA to pursue his passion for immigration law and worked for a private law firm that focused exclusively on that field. While living in Seattle and working with clients from all over the globe was rewarding, Christopher's true love was for Oklahoma where his family and friends lived. With that, Christopher made the decision to move back to his home state with the experience and knowledge he gained while living in Seattle.
Once back in Oklahoma, Christopher began working as an associate attorney at the Antinoro Law Firm in Pryor, OK. During his time there, Christopher continued his practice in immigration law but also began to learn several new areas of law such as family law, criminal defense, civil litigation, and contract law. Under the mentorship of attorney, Mark Antinoro, Christopher developed a passion in practicing family law and has made this area his primary focus.
In early 2020, Christopher and his best friend, Misty Fields, a well-respected and accomplished criminal defense attorney, decided that they wanted to open a practice together and formed Fields & Garner, Attorneys at Law, PLLC in Pryor, OK.
